How to treat strep throat?
(A) acute pharyngitis
Acute pharyngitis is one of the common diseases of pharynx, mainly due to a hemolytic streptococci, pneumococcal infections or viruses. Sometimes as part of acute upper respiratory infection acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, acute laryngitis, acute rhinitis and exist simultaneously. Sometimes prodrome acute pharyngitis is some acute infectious diseases, such as measles, whooping cough, Scarlet fever, and so on. (B) acute tonsillitis

Severity of symptoms varies, general malaise, chill, fever, headache, limb pain, sore throat and lower neck lymph node and swelling. Check for visible and congestion of throat, tonsil swelling, surface excretions or secretions of cervical lymph node tenderness. Sometimes patients complicated by peritonsillar abscess, or acute rheumatic fever, myocarditis, nephritis and arthritis.
(C) peritonsillar abscess
Most of peritonsillar abscess secondary to acute tonsillitis, especially in view of recurrent attacks of chronic tonsillitis. Its symptoms are similar to acute tonsillitis, but more serious.
